A teacher of Necromancy and Lujei's apprentice.Though she appears cold-hearted, she in fact possesses a passionate attitude and unrequited feelings for Dr. Chartreuse. Although she may not look it, she is way older than she actually looks because of spells.

Opalneria distrusts any sort of romantic relationship between students and teachers, as her former teacher Lujei Piche was in a relationship with one of her students but was betrayed and assassinated by him. When Hiram Menthe declares his love for her she is shocked and tells him that she must think about their relationship.

After Lillet visits the Silver Star Tower well after the events of the never-ending five days she finds out that Opalnaria cast another spell on herself to make herself even younger for Hiram, so much so that she "looks like she's a school girl" as quoted by Advocat.
